Council Provides Safe Space to Reflect After Election Result
Around thirty HKS alums gathered at the Truman Lounge at the National Press Club to reflect on the historic and significant election of Donald Trump to the Oval Office. The HKS DC Alumni Council acknowledged the significance of the day's election result for the HKS community in D.C. and across the world, and so called an impromptu gathering for drinks and conversation with classmates.
Of note, HKS alum and Congressman Chris Van Hollen was elected to the Senate.
Many thanks to HKS DC councilor Lisa-Joy Zgorski for generously hosting this event at short notice.
The Council and its activities are non-partisan.
