Adaptive Leadership Reception sells out
Over 80 HKS alumni, friends and affiliates got on the dance floor at the inaugural Adaptive Leadership networking reception. The reception was hosted by the HKS DC Council with the HKS Adaptive Leadership SIG and was hosted at the Embassy of Republic of Croatia.
Councilor Ruma Samdani hosted the evening with Mario Škunca Deputy Chief of Mission at the embassy, both are MC-MPA 2012.Michael Koehler of the Adaptive Leadership SIG gave an update on the October conference hosted in Cambridge, MA and the recent work. Ambassador Joško Paro welcomed the guests and won the audience over with his remarks. The alumni connected over their experiences, with a desire to reconnect with the adaptive leadership framework that has been in practice for over 30 years by Professors Heifetz, Williams, Linsky and others. This event was a precursor to a special one-day refresher workshop that will be held on April 9th.
In collaborative spirit, HKS DC partnered alum owned Roberts & June to provide refreshments. The creative drinks were tailored to the reception’s theme and were brashly named Work Avoidance, Mirroring, On the Balcony and 2343 Mojo.
We are thankful for the Embassy of Republic of Croatia for their hospitality and support for HKS DC Council.
