VOLUNTEER Service - BEST Kids Superhero Fun Run!

Join HKS DC alumni as we support and cheer on the runners! Volunteers will help check-in runners, hand out water, serve on course checkpoints, cheer, and help with other duties during the race. Superhero costumes are encouraged!

Volunteers arrive 6:00 am, runner check-in opens 6:30am, run begins at 9:00 am

BEST Kids is a nonprofit mentoring organization that empowers youth in foster care to build better futures, one child at a time. Though mentoring is at their core, they also offer events and activities for the kids they serve. The Superhero 5K and Fun Run is one of their biggest events of the year and serves as a celebration of the everyday heroes that make a positive impact in the lives of youth in DC's foster care system. This is a family friendly race and many kids and adults will run dressed as superheroes.
