Thank you to everyone who joined us for a night of networking, career advising, and catching up with classmates at the 29th annual Harvard Kennedy School Alumni-Student Networking Night and Alumni Panel at the National Press Club!
The evening started with an alumni panel discussion about mid-career pivots or transitions with nearly 60 alumni in attendance. It was a great discussion about how to identify and land your next big career opportunity from DC’s finest career professionals, including Nick Lovegrove, John Hesse, Aaron Kleiman, and Michele Woodward. We greatly appreciate the panelists' candid insights and excellent advice. Special thanks to alumni councilors Joelle Schmitz, Barbara Zadina, Joey Wang, Ben Goldsmith and Stan Duvall for support in coordinating the session.
The night continued with open networking and refreshments. Designated career advisors were stationed throughout the venue to provide information about career opportunities at their respective organizations to students and alumni. Special thanks to Amanda Peters, the entire HKS OCA team, HKS Alumni Services, and HKS Student Services for making the networking night so successful.
The night concluded with an informal networking happy hour at Mackey's Public House for students and alumni. Special thanks to Emilian Papadopoulos and Ben Goldsmith for coordinating the space.
