Record numbers of alums enjoy an evening with the Nats

Despite a loss at the hands of the L.A. Dodgers, the Washington Nationals put on a fabulous show for over 60 HKS alums at the third annual ball game. All programs were represented, along with many family and friends. After pre-game refreshments in the Bull Pen, the HKS group took their position as a block in prime position in first level outfield seats.

Many thanks to the organizers: former Council President Donald Tighe (MC/MPA 1999), and loyal friend of the Council, Lourdes Tinajero (Executive Education 2011). Donald and Lourdes secured tickets at reduced rates, managed sales and distribution, and kept everyone in order on the night. Thank you!

HKSDC councilor John Haederle sadly could not make his last event as Secretary. John remains on the D.C. Council, but was elected Chair of the HKS Global Alumni Board in May, so will naturally reduce his local commitments. Many thanks to John for all his work as Secretary over recent years.

Of note, Executive Education alum from 2015, Daniel Koroma, brought with him five of his YMCA mentees to watch the game and meet fellow HKS alums. It was a pleasure to be in such impressive company.
